Hey there! Welcome to my review of the best upgrades for Springfield Hellcat 2024.

Shooters love the Springfield Hellcat for its high capacity, reliability, and ease of use. It is the ideal micro pistol for everyday carry and concealed carry.

I will make the already good Hellcat better with the necessary upgrades.

I got my Hellcat a year ago, and in this review, I will share the upgrades that I have made with it over time.

So, let’s start.

       Best Springfield Hellcat Upgrades

The following Springfield Hellcat accessories are my modifications with my Hellcat.

  • A red dot optic
  • A weapon light
  • Grip
  • Trigger system

1. Red Dot Sight – The Holsun 507 K X2

You need a red dot with your firearm to enhance its speed and accuracy. You do this by cutting the time of aligning the front and back sights with the target. Simply put the dot on the target and shoot. The speed and accuracy you get with a red dot give you an advantage in a combat situation.

The Springfield Hellcat comes with a Shield RMS, but I wanted a more durable red dot for mine. So, I chose the Holosun 507 K for upgrading my Hellcat.

This red dot is super compact and lightweight. It is a loved feature as shooters prefer not to add too much weight to their guns. It also has an impressive 50,000 hours of battery life.

So, this will be my first upgrade for the Springfield Hellcat. There are other options also for this upgrade. Read detailed guide here Best Red Dots For Springfield Hellcat

2. Weapon Light – Olight PL-Mini 2 Valkyrie

A weapon light increases the efficiency of your Springfield Hellcat by allowing target identification. If you use Hellcat for defense, it’s important first to identify if the invader is real or not. So, a weapon light becomes the most important accessory for your gun in low-light conditions.

I have upgraded my Springfield Hellcat with Olight PL-Mini 2 Valkyrie.

I love this light because it is compact and fits well. So, it doesn’t go very far in front of the muzzle.

I prefer it because I don’t like bulky lights on my Hellcat.

The compact design of this gun also makes it suitable for concealed carry—one of the primary uses of a Hellcat.

Also, it has a quick attach-detach system and gives enough brightness.

So, this is my second upgrade for the Springfield Hellcat. We have some more options for you to explore Best Light for Springfield Hellcat

3. ForeGrip – Talon PRO Grips for Hellcat

The Springfield Hellcat grip is good, but I made it more grippy. To make it more grippy, I updated it with a TALON grip. I used the Talon Pro grip for this purpose. The grip is rubber and granulate texture mixture with a completely rubberized surface. So, it is a balance of being comfortable and aggressive.

4. Trigger system – Powder River Precision Kit

I have upgraded the trigger of my Hellcat with the Powder River Precision Kit for Hellcat. I prefer it because the slack of the Powder River Precision is much lighter than the original trigger and has a more even press.

For this upgrade, you can also use the Action Enhancement Trigger for Hellcat by Apex Tactical.

5. Holster – Desantis Mini Slide

Carrying a holster with your gun, especially a concealed carry gun, is essential for your safety. There are various custom-made holster for a Springfield Hellcat.

My choice for the Hellcat holster is Desantis Mini Slide. I like this holster because it is made of all leather—leather holsters are comfortable to carry. Also, it is a perfect fit for Hellcat and fits tightly to the body.

How Should You Choose the Upgrades?

All the upgrades mentioned above are selected based on various factors. Here I will mention the criteria for choosing each.

Red dot

One obvious criterion for choosing the red dot is the adjustment. Choose the holster that perfectly fits your Springfield Hellcat. Shooters don’t like adding too much weight with their pistols, so a lightweight red dot sight is preferable. And last but not least is the price. So, I chose the Holosun 507K-X2 because it is not just compact and lightweight but also affordable.

Holster

When you are looking for a holster, comfort is an important consideration. You must have heard how great Kydex holsters are, but leather holsters are more comfortable to carry. And for a concealed carry gun, a holster should be close to the body, so the pistol is concealed correctly.

Weapon light

The first thing to consider in a weapon light is that the brightness level should align with the use of light. Then, like the red dots, lightweight and compact lights are preferable. One compact design option is the Olight PL-Mini 2 Valkyrie which I use with my hellcat.

Another similar option you can attach to Hellcat is the Streamlight TLR-6.

Trigger system

The custom-made trigger kits have made choosing a trigger easier for shooters.
